If you’re non-diver and wish to visit the famous Mari Mari Mantanani Island, this might be the right package for you.

Morning Session – After a short briefing on the use of equipments and snorkelling site by our trained snorkelling guide, get gear up.  Our boat will take you to one of our snorkelling site and start your adventure.

Afternoon Session – Boat will take you to a different snorkelling site to continue your adventure and spend about  another hour interacting with the marine lives.

Itinerary


0715 HRS – Meet at Wisma Sabah, Jalan Tun Fuad Stephen, Kota Kinabalu and transfer by coach or van to Kuala Abai Jetty, Kota Belud. Estimated travel time will be 1 hour & 45 minutes.

0930 HRS – Arrival at Jetty and depart to Mari Mari Dive Lodge at Pulau Mantanani Kecil. We travel 1 hour going to the small (Kecil) island. Mantanani Island group consists of 3 islands namely Pulau Mantanani Besar (Big Mantanani Island), Pulau Mantanani Kecil (Small Mantanani Island) and Pulau Langisan.

Note: For safety reasons, we may cancel / turn back halfway if the weather or sea condition is deemed unsafe for the journey to proceed.

1030 HRS – Arrival at Mari—Mari Dive Lodge (Mantanani Kecil). Freshen up and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea served at our Mari-Mari Dive Lodge.

1045 HRS – Briefing on the use of equipments and safety procedures as well as a brief introduction of the site that you will be visiting. Gear up. Our boat will then take you to one of our snorkeling site and start your adventure with our snorkeling guide

1200 HRS – Back to the dive lodge for a sumptuous lunch. Relax while enjoying the scenic view of Mantanani.

1300 HRS – Boat will take you to a different snorkeling site to continue your adventure and spend about another hour interacting with the marine lives

1500 HRS – Depart for Kuala Abai Jetty. Upon arrival, board coach/van and proceed back to Kota Kinabalu.

Note: We may depart earlier from the island if the we foresee any changes in sea or weather conditions that may affect the safety of the journey.

1830 HRS – Arrive at Kota Kinabalu & drop off at Wisma Sabah.

For safety reasons, tour and activities are dependent on SEA & WEATHER CONDITIONS. We reserved the rights to CANCEL or POSTPONE the tour or any activities if we deem there is an absence of a safe operating environment.
We monitor closely weather changes through the relevant sources.

Liability Release Form and Tour Attendance MUST be signed and understood by the participant before the tour commences.

You might get WET during the boat journey, so please be sure to pack and stow your belongings properly during the journey. Dry bags or plastic bags for waterproofing are recommended.

Kindly note that you are responsible for the safe keeping of your belongings at all time. We do not encourage guests bringing along electronic devices, valuables and important documents.

Please check with us if you have any special dietary request, e.g. vegetarian. We however do not guarantee that we will be able to meet all requests.

Q: Can I snorkel with contact lenses?
A: Yes you can. Just be aware that if your mask sometimes floods, you may lose your contact lenses. An alternative to wearing contact lenses is to purchase a mask with prescription lenses.

Q: Do you have any mask with prescription lenses for people with long-sighted eye problem?
A: Yes, but units are limited and the degrees of prescription may not necessary suit you. It is best to bring your own prescription mask that suits you.

Q: What equipment is needed for snorkelling ?
A: Mask, snorkel, fins and life jacket. All these are provided for you.

Q: What sizes are the fins that are available at the dive lodge?
A: We do have varieties of sizes from Extra Small to Extra Large. You may also bring along your own fins which you are comfortable with.

Q: Do you provide wetsuit?
A: No
